The Tools I Use to Help You Create Your Future
When we reach the future part of our work together, this is where things can become really fun. We have already spent time clearing away old emotional baggage and working with the beliefs and patterns that may have been holding you back. Now we can turn our attention toward what you would love to create.
Creating Your Future® gives me a wonderful collection of processes to use with you.
Goal work is one of the important pieces. We take the things you would love to accomplish and turn them into clear goals.
We also use Time Line Therapy™ to work with your future. Your time line can help you create a picture of yourself moving forward and experiencing the things you want. We can connect with the person you are becoming and the feelings you want to carry with you into that future.
Visualization and hypnosis are other tools I use. You can close your eyes and imagine yourself experiencing the future you want. You can picture where you are, what you are doing, who is with you, and how you feel. Hypnosis can help you become deeply relaxed and focused while you work with these ideas, making it easier to use your imagination and connect with the future you are creating. Your imagination gives you a chance to explore a possibility before you experience it in your everyday life.
I also love using vision boards and vision books. You can collect pictures, words, ideas, and anything else that represents the life you would love to create. There is something surprisingly powerful about seeing your dreams in front of you instead of keeping them only inside your head.
I also enjoy bringing in creative exercises that help you get very clear about what you want. Sometimes people have spent so much time thinking about their problems that they have forgotten what makes them excited. These exercises can help you discover what you really want your life to look and feel like.
As I mentioned, it is extremely important to do the work of changing the beliefs that may stand in the way of your goals. If part of you believes that you are incapable, undeserving, or unlikely to succeed, that belief can affect the choices you make. We take care of this during our healing work.
I have also been inspired by teachings from Abraham Hicks, Neville Goddard, Bashar, and other writers and teachers who explore imagination, vibration, faith, and the Law of Attraction. I have taken ideas that resonate with me and combined them with the practical tools I use in my work.
There is no single magic button for creating the life you want. I find it is the combination that makes this work so effective. We can clear old emotions, change limiting beliefs, create a vision, set goals, use your imagination, build a vision board, work with your timeline, and take real steps toward what you want. I even had a client call me an hour after working with me to tell me that what we worked on already came true!
Before working with me, my clients have spent so much time thinking about what they want to get away from. Now they get to spend time thinking about where they want to go. That is a very different place to be. I know how exciting it is when the things you put on that vision board or write in that vision book can surprise you by showing up in your life.
